The 22 Bruins General scholarship is open to all students pursuing 2-year, 4-year, or professional school education.

   For students pursuing degrees in physics or visual arts. Physics applicants should share their passion for discovery, while art applicants should submit a portfolio and explain how art influences their identity and impact.

   For single mothers currently enrolled in a 2-year, 4-year, or professional school. Applicants must demonstrate perseverance and a vision for a better future through education, sharing their journey in the essay

Drop Out by Statistics

 42% of students who discontinued college cited financial reasons: A survey by the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) and StraighterLine found that 42% of young adults aged 20–34 who stopped attending college did so primarily due to financial constraints 

 60% of current students have considered dropping out due to financial stress: A 2024 survey by Ellucian revealed that nearly 60% of college students contemplated leaving their studies because of financial pressures, with 19% actually dropping out for this reason. ​ 

 32% of individuals who didn't complete college mentioned needing to earn money: The Federal Reserve's 2017 report highlighted that 32% of adults who didn't finish college needed to work to support themselves or their families.
